These terms cover your use of this website. Reading the site means accepting them. They are not our terms of business: work we take on is governed by a separate signed agreement, and where the two ever disagree, that agreement wins.
Using this site
You are welcome to read this site, quote from it with attribution, and link to it. You may not copy it wholesale, scrape it to rebuild it elsewhere, or pass any part of it off as your own.
Please do not attempt to break the site, probe it for weaknesses, overload it, or reach it by any route other than the one it offers. If you find a security problem, we would genuinely like to hear about it at hello@soh.studio before you tell anyone else.
The work shown here
The design, code, text and layout of this site are ours. The projects are not, or not only: they were made for clients, and the rights in them sit with whoever the relevant contract says they sit with. Case studies are published with the client's agreement.
Some of the work reproduces brands belonging to companies that are neither ours nor our clients'. Those marks stay the property of their owners, and showing them here is a record of work done, not a claim over them and not a suggestion that those owners endorse us.
So: do not reuse anything from the case studies without asking. Ask us and we will tell you whose permission you actually need, which is often not only ours.
Enquiries and confidentiality
Sending an enquiry does not create a contract, an engagement or a client relationship, and it does not oblige us to take the work on. It also does not put your information under an NDA by itself. We treat what you tell us as confidential in practice and we do not repeat it, but if the confidentiality needs to be binding, ask us for an agreement before you send the detail.
Do not send us anything you are not free to send: material covered by someone else's confidentiality obligations, personal information about other people, or anything you do not have the rights to share.
Working together
Nothing on this site is an offer, a quote or a fixed price. Descriptions of what we do are a guide to the kind of work we take on, not a specification of what any engagement will include.
If we work together, a separate written agreement sets out the scope, the fee, the timeline, who owns what at the end and where liability sits. Those terms govern the project. These ones govern the website.
Other sites we link to
Where we link out, we are pointing at something worth seeing, not vouching for it. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for what they contain or what they do with your information once you are there.
Availability and accuracy
The site is provided as it is. We keep it accurate and online as best we can, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or current at every moment. Case studies describe work at a point in time and are not maintained as the projects move on.
We may change, move or remove anything on the site at any time, including these terms, without telling you in advance.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, or from being unable to use it.
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by any of this.
